Join the BC Flood and Wildfire Review at the Coast Capri Hotel to share your experiences from the 2017 floods and wildfires, and provide recommendations about how the Government of BC can better plan for and respond to these events in the future.
The BC Flood and Wildfire Review, commissioned by the BC provincial government in December 2017, is engaging with British Columbians across the province to collect feedback on the government response to the devastating 2017 flood and wildfire seasons.
Led by co-chairs Chief Maureen Chapman and Mr. George Abbott, the review will be holding an open house in Kelowna on March 28. Come by the Coast Capri Hotel anytime between 2pm – 8pm to meet with the review team, share your feedback, and help shape recommendations to the province on how to improve preparation, prevention, response, and recovery policies and practices for future flood and wildfire events.
Everyone is welcome.
