Screaming at Traffic is a punk-rock band from Winnipeg, MB, and the latest project from longtime friends and on-again-off-again collaborators Jacques Richer, Duncan Murta, Paul Colman, and Stefan St. Godard.

The four local punk scene vets have gigged, couchsurfed, and toured together for years. In previous acts, the boys have won several vote-based local showcases/battle-of-the-bands, rocked multiple years of Shine On Music Festival, and opened for bands ranging from local metal heroes Dreadnaut to Cali surf-punk outfit SWMRS to Juno award winning punks The Dirty Nil.

Screaming at Traffic’s no-frills noise-punk riffing is reminiscent of contemporary rockers like PUP and Milk Teeth, while the group’s frenzied live performance and raw, yet melodic songwriting calls back to gems of the 80’s and 90’s, like Bad Religion, and Husker Du.
