Join the Irving K. Barber School of Arts and Sciences March 1st as they host the 9th Annual Indigeneity Panel, “Indigenizing the Academy”, featuring guest speakers Dr. Marie Battiste (College of Education, University of Saskatchewan), Dr. Dennis McPherson (Indigenous Learning, Lakehead University), and Dr. Jacqueline Romanow (Indigenous Studies, University of Winnipeg).

Along with the Irving K. Barber School of Arts and Sciences, this event is hosted by the Indigenous Studies Faculty Community, the Culture and Global Studies Department at UBCO, and the Syilx Okanagan Nation Territory with funding from Aboriginal Programs and Services – Okanagan Campus.
