This is an opportunity to learn about this year’s five prizes from a distinguished panel of UBC Okanagan professors. The Nobel Prizes are presented in Stockholm, Sweden, at the annual Prize Award Ceremony on December 10th, the anniversary of Nobel’s death. The prizes in Chemistry, Literature, Peace, Physics, and Physiology or Medicine were first awarded in 1901. From lasers to curing cancer to the economics of climate change and more, Nobel Night will help decipher the discoveries and achievements that have changed the world this year.
Following the discussion there will be an opportunity to ask questions and enjoy refreshments.
