The dark winter days are sure to feel brighter basking in the glow of Pecha Kucha Vol 14. Warm your hands on a host of toasty tales from restaurateurs, makers, travelers, brewers and more.
Japanese for “chit-chat,” Pecha Kucha originated in Tokyo in 2003 and has since grown into an international speaker series based on a simple format: 20 images x 20 seconds. Presenters get six minutes and 40 seconds to share their story in a slide-show format.
Held four times a year in Penticton, the popular not-for-profit series brings together a diverse of range of Okanagan thinkers and doers in the arts, business, design, architecture, mental health, entrepreneurship, biology, journalism and many other fields.
Doors open at 6pm. First presentation begins at 7:00 p.m. There will be two intermissions. Come early to get a seat. Tunes courtesy of DJ Gwin.
