Kettle River Brewing and the CrAsian Food Truck have teamed up for a new project – the Provisions Kitchen will be celebrating their official grand opening August 21st beginning at 5pm. Provisions will be offering up some bites, along with their full menu (items like the mac and blue cheese, zucchini parm, chicken wings and meat pies, each portion perfect for sharing). And Kettle River Brewing will be tapping a couple special casks – a cherry-vanilla wheat beer and a pineapple sour.
The duo first began working together in 2016 when Kettle River invited the truck to setup at their official grand opening. CrAsian, having visited the new tasting room just weeks before as patrons, felt there was something special about the micro brewery and the two teams have been closely collaborating ever since. Three years and several beers later, Kettle River and CrAsian are solidifying their relationship in brick and mortar via a brand new kitchen run by co-owners Meiko Koga, Courtney Koga and Chef Brock Bowes.
Provisions Kitchen and Catering, operated by CrAsian Foods Corp, serves upscale camping-inspired food, creatively crafted with beer in mind. “We like to say it is casual, camp-inspired food, created with the seasons by using whatever is fresh and local at the time,” said Courtney. “Our theme has always been comfort food that is creatively crafted with beer in mind,” said Meiko. “We are already working with the head brewer to get new ideas down the pipe.”
If you can’t wait until the official grand opening, Provisions has begun serving during Kettle River’s regular hours.
