Write a letter of support for the Agassiz Road supportive housing project for the homeless and send your email to the City of Kelowna before 4pm on January 16th. The official submission period is from January 2nd to January 16th.
Also ask to be put on the speakers list for the city council hearing on January 17th at City Hall. Send in your request before 4pm on January 16th. Everyone will have five minutes to speak. The hearing is scheduled to take place at 6pm at City Hall on Water Street, but this might change because staff was asked to find a venue larger than council chambers.
The Agassiz Road supportive housing project, a modular, four-storey, 52-unit supportive housing complex on an empty lot at 2025 Agassiz Road is being opposed mightily by neighbours in the area.
