Celebrate spring with a selection of Culmina’s new white and rosé releases, including a very special new wine from the Number Series, during a lavish multi-course dinner featuring the extraordinary talents of Joy Road Catering.
Culmina Family Estate Winery is run by Elaine Triggs, daughter Sara and BC wine legend Don Triggs of Jackson-Triggs fame and the former Chief Executive of Vincor International Ltd. The Culmina venture is the second time that Elaine and Don have dived right into creating a new Canadian wine enterprise. It was in 2006 when the 14th largest wine company in the world, Vincor, was sold to Constellation Brands.
Culmina, located on Wild Rose Street, accessed from Road 13 just south of Oliver opened in 2013. The winery’s wines have been met with fantastic critical praise, including very flattering reviews from some of Canada’s top wine writers.
Founders of Joy Road Catering Cameron Smith and Dana Ewart will be staying on for the next year to show new owners Brett Tuner and his wife Olivia Fobert the ropes, so locals and tourists should expect to continue seeing them at the Penticton Farmers’ Market and lots of other events. The name of the business, staff and menu will remain the same. It was purchased by the Turners earlier this year.
Ticket prices are $140.00 for the evening.
