The second annual Tune It Down, Turn It Up is a two day exclusive showcase of BC interior artists and musicians featuring the psychedelic, the heavy, the stoned, the fuzzy and everything in between. It was created by a group of people who noticed that while there were multiple platforms and events for other musical genres, the city of Kelowna lacked a concentrated, accessible alternative for people who wanted to play and hear something a little different all in one place.
So the mission to organize a cohesive, mini-festival environment to showcase the amount of talent found in the BC Interior began. The more organizers looked, the more they found, and the first annual Tune It Down Turn It Up was created – organized by artists and fans from the interior, for artists and fans in the interior.
The two day festival will feature 15 bands, bands such as Regress, Rainboard and Hemptress. The music will start off at Muninn’s post and continue on at 702 Bernard Ave ( diagonally across from Safeway) which will be starting later. $25 pre sale weekend passes and $30 at the door.
