Chef Rod Butters has revealed his two menus for February 14th, featuring a crispy duck leg confit with foie gras mayo as a starter, and a panned seared sablefish from Codfathers with Northern Divine Caviar or a preserved cherry braised lamb shank. MTL is featuring a Latin Lovers Supper Club. Their chef has chosen four Spanish wines ranging from an organic pink bubbly to a 19 year old vintage port for this night. A Date Night with Drinks and Sweets
Urban Liquor Store is presenting this unique beer-drinking experience, raising funds for the Autism Okanagan Association. Red Bird Brewing will host 4 guest casks with brewers from Whitetooth Brewing in Golden, Marten Brewing in Vernon, Cannery Brewing in Penticton, & Britannia Brewing in Richmond are currently hard at work concocting special one-off beers just for the night. Julian Helman, brilliant chocolatier behind local Karat Chocolates, will be creating special chocolates to pair with each fun and unique brew. $40.00. Tickets.
Join Okanagan Spirits on Wednesday night for a Valentine themed cocktail class, with martinis, chocolate pairings, and themed treats. It's part of their Bartending 101 series. Tickets are $30.00 each and include 3 cocktails, light appetizers and some education.
Spend Valentine's Day on the Hills
Big White is featuring a number of events mainly for singles looking for love (or less). Take part in speed dating, a romantic gondola ride, or their dating gameshow at Happy Valley Day Lodge.
Head to SilverStar for horse sleigh rides and hot chocolate, a sunset snowshoe tour, and then a night of dancing, and a performance by DJ Dee Bass at the Red Antler.
